The popularity of the Indian fashion industry has been earned over decades by famous fashion designers, it is not something that was handed over to it.
These fashion designers have strived for a long time to establish a balanced connection between the adapting modern trends and the thought of reviving the old styles.
Another reason is the variation in the textile fashion of the country, why Indian fashion has seen downfalls in the least number.
Being the second largest silk producer and the third largest cotton producer India produces clothes of varying textile.
This has helped a lot to the designers of the country to establish various designs suitable for each fabric.
Cotton dominates the northern zone while silk is the most preferred fabric in the south.
You can find the woollen clothes owing to the chilly ambiance of the mountains throughout the year if you move to the extreme north,
To bring forth their features, Indians have always preferred bright colours. Monotonous dresses was never the taste of the people of India.
They like to savor the vibrancy of the dresses and believe that the exquisite and rich blends of various chrome make the dress come alive.
